ALPINE IN PURSUIT OF THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS VIRTUAL

After a podium finish in its return to the premier class in 2021, Alpine now aims to add its name to the list of winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual, which will take place on 15 and 16 January. • Alpine enters two cars, #36 and #15, and Fernando Alonso (Alpine F1 Team driver) as captain to coach the team of the #36. • Victor Martins (Alpine Academy driver), Sacha Lehmann (Michelin Le Mans Cup) Patrik Sipos (Alpine Esports) and Olli Pahkala (Sim Racer) are competing in the #36 car. • The first edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual brought together 200 drivers representing 37 countries in 170 simulators worldwide.

Alpine's motorsport activities continue relentlessly into 2022. After the Formula 1 World Championship, the World Endurance Championship and the F1 Esports Pro-Series, the "Arrowed A" is now taking on the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual.

Organised by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the FIA World Endurance Championship and Motorsport Games, the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual is taking take place over the course of a week (from 9 to 16 January). The drivers are competing on the 13.626-kilometre Circuit de la Sarthe via the rFactor2 platform.
